The New York State Courts Access to Justice Program hosts a series of free seminars aimed at the needs of the unrepresented public. Live seminars are held and simultaneously video conferenced to other courthouses throughout New York City. Presenters for the community seminars include judicial and non-judicial staff, private practitioners, legal services lawyers and representatives from various community and governmental agencies. The seminars seek to educate the public on various court related topics and to provide an opportunity to ask questions of experts in a particular field.
If you are an individual or a member of an organization and you want to suggest a topic, be notified of upcoming community seminars or volunteer to be a guest speaker, please email DCAJ-OJI@nycourts.gov.
